CF Historical and Forecast Attrition Rates

The following figure illustrates the historical attrition and most recent attrition forecast for the CF Regular Force. The forecast reflects the most recent Strategic Intake Plan (SIP) issued in October 2010, and assumes that the attrition behaviour observed this fiscal year-to-date continues into the future. The attrition forecast only provides a five year outlook as longer-term forecasts are less reliable due to many variable including attrition behaviour and economic changes.
