CF MP Gp HQ
The Canadian Forces Provost Marshal (CFPM) is an advisor to the Chief of the Defence Staff on policing matters, the Branch Advisor for the Canadian Forces Military Police Branch, and an active member of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police. The CFPM also is the Commander of the Canadian Forces Military Police Group.
As the centralized MP HQ, the CF Military Police Group (CF MP Gp) HQ provides direction to all Military Police Branch members with regards to police policy and procedures, oversight on policing and security matters, professional standards, security, equipment and training, as well as, MP Branch activities and traditions.
The CF MP Gp HQ is located on Walkley Road in Ottawa. The HQ consists of the CFPM (also CF MP Gp HQ Commander) and his directors and their requisite personnel.
